Thalassery Fort or Tellicherry Fort is  built by the British East India Company in 1708. It is one of the few historical monuments preserved by the Archaeological Survey of India.

         Odathil Palli a 200-year-old mosque, was built by a rich Arab merchant on the land donated by the Portuguese. The specialty of this mosque is that it has neither domes and nor minarets.

         Holy Rosary Church also known as St. Rosario Church, is one of the ancient churches in Kerala belonging to Roman(Latin) Catholic faith. It is established in the early of 16th century.

               Overbury's Foly is a seashore recreational park, was created by the once Municipal Vice Chairman and Sub Collector of the area namely E.N. Overbury. It started as an evening picnic spot in 1879.

           Sree Rama Swami Temple located in the east part of Thalassery. The temple is generally known as Brass Pagoda .It is one of the five major shrines dedicated to Lord Sree Rama in Kerala

          Dharmadam Beach Park is an initiative by Kannur District Tourism Promotion Council DTPC, Kerala Tourism. This park is situated very close to Dharmdam Island.

         Mambally's Royal Biscuit Factory is the first bakery in Kerala, established by Mambally Bapu in 1880. In 1883, a few days before Christmas, Bapu presented India's 1st Christmas Cake to Mr. Murdoch Brown.

    Malayala Kalagramam (MAKAM), situated at New Mahe in Kannur district . A centre for art and ideas, its aim is to provide children and youngsters a Kalari to practise and perform all forms of fine arts. 

  Lord Subramanya is the main deity worshiped at this temple. The idol is the serpent form of Lord Subramanya and the main offerings are eggs.The pond in this temple is famous all over the world.

       The big pond in Chirakkal also popularly known as Chirakkal Kovilam Chira was created by Kolathiris. It spread over 14 acres, is one of the oldest monument of Kannur.

          The Pazhassi Dam also called Kulur Barrage is a stone masonry diversion structure in Kannur. It is named after the King Pazhassi Raja. It was commissioned by Prime Minister Morarji Desai in 1979.

          The Rajarajeshwara Temple is one of the ancient Shiva temple located at Taliparamba, in the Kannur district of Kerala. It has a prominent place amongst the numerous Shiva temples in India.

          Aralam is the northern most wildlife sanctuary of Kerala. It was established in 1984, situated in the southeast part of Kannur District. The headquarters of the sanctuary is near Iritty.

      Muzhappilangad Drive-in-Beach(5.5km length) is the only Drive-in-Beach in Kerala and also the largest Driving Beach in Asia. The beach festival is celebrated in the month of April.

   The Juma Masjid is an important landmark of Thalassery and is said to be almost a 1000 years old. Though the original structure doesn't exist, it has been renovated newly in Indo-Saracenic style.

     Thalassery Pier is locally known as Thalassery Kadalpalam. It is an important port since the times of British. It was created when the large ships were unable to come closer to shorelines.

               Sea View Park is one of the small and beautiful sea facing park in Thalassery. This park is situated just beside the Edapally-Panvel NH. Very good place to relax during weekends.

                 Centenary Park is one of the  beautiful sea facing park in Thalassery. This park is situated just opposite to Thalassery Court. The sunset view from this park is really awesome.

         Dharmadam Beach is situated very near to Muzhappilangad Drive-in-Beach. It is located on the Island Road in Dharmadam. The entire shoreline is filled with empty seashells that wash ashore.

         Andalur Kavu is a famous and prominent temple in Andalur in Dharmadam village of Kannur District. This old temple is in the name of Lord Sree Rama .

             Wellesley’s Bungalow is a beautiful colonial mansion actually belongs to T H Baber. The house was named after Lord Wellesley, who was a guest at the manor.

        The Arrakkal Museum is a museum dedicated to the Arakkal family, the only Muslim royal family in Kerala.The museum is actually a section of the Arakkalkettu (Arakkal Royal Palace).

    Muzhakkunu Mridanga Saileswarai Temple is one of the most famous Durga temple in Kerala. This temple is believed to be the family temple of Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja.

          Vismaya is an amusement water theme park situated near Taliparamba. It is  developed and run by Malabar Tourism Development Co-operative Limited (MTDC).

         Madayipara is a flat topped hillock located in the Madayi, of Kannur district of Kerala. This area is also known for the Malik Ibn Dinar mosque, which is built by Malik Ibn Dinar, a Muslimpreacher. 

      Kottiyoor Temple is a prominent Shiva temple in Kerala. Vadakkeshwaram Temple is the common name of the temple from ancient time, but it also known as Ikkare Kottiyoor.

         Dharmadam Island is also known as Dharmadam Thuruthu or Pacha Thuruthu, is one of the most beautiful places in God’s Own Country, Kerala. It is a tiny private island in Thalassery. 

     The St. John's Anglican Church also known as English church, was completed in its final form by 1867. It is considered to be one of the first churches in the Malabar region.

         Thalassery Municipality Clock Tower is the new face of the heritage town Thalassery. There are four clocks in four sides. The tower is built in Victorian style of architecture at a height of 12m.

           Fisherfolk Temple located along the cosatline that runs from Kannur to Thalassery and Thalassery to Mahe. This temple was built to show appreciation to the sea for its generosity and blessings.

       Gundert Bungalow situated in Illikunnu near Thalassery. Dr. Herman Gundert lived in this bungalow for 20 years from 1839. This Bungalow exhibiting the typical colonial style of architecture.

               Thalassery Municipal Stadium is the birthplace of Cricket in Indian history. Thalassery cricket ground celebrated its 200th birthday in 2002, by hosting a one-day international cricket match .

          Surya Narayana Temple is located at Kadirur, a village in Thalassery taluk. Kadirur Sree Suryanarayana Temple is an ancient temple which is believed to have originated in the 13th century.

              Tagore Park is one of the small and beautiful sea facing park in Mahe. There is a  walkway along the Mahe river side is well tiled and illuminated, which makes this park more attractive.

        Anjarakandy Cinnamon Estate is the biggest cinnamon plantation in Asia. Established by British East India Company agent Murdoch Brown in 1798. It is the first Cinnamon plantation in Kerala.

       Parassinikkadavu Snake Park is one of the finest snake sanctuaries of Asia. It is one of the most prominent reptile preservation centres in the country and is the only one in Kerala. 

    Parassinikadavu Muthappan Madappura is a Hindu temple, located on the banks of the Valapattanam river. Parassini Madappura is administered by the Parassini Madappura Family.

          Vayalapra Kaayal Floating Park known as V-Pra Park, newly developed eco tourism park, is inaugurated on 5th June 2016. It is situated in Vayalapra lake near Madayi. 

      Palakkayam Thattu is located in Paithalmala. It is one of the most beautiful hill stations in the entire state of Kerala. The trek to Palakkayam Thattu is undoubtedly scenic and also quite an easy one.
